FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LINCOLN, NEB. (July 19, 2012)—Conventions, Sports and Leisure (CSL) has developed a state-wide strategic plan to cultivate and promote tourism in Nebraska. The Minnesota-based consulting firm was hired by the State Tourism Advisory Board to gather information and present a Tourism Strategic Plan to the industry and the Legislature.
After extensive research, analysis and collection of information from tourism stakeholders throughout the state, CSL has developed a practical, actionable implementation plan that will effectively guide and support tourism industry infrastructure, policy and planning efforts over the next 10 years.
CSL will be traveling around the state next week to present the study findings and recommendations at regional locations. We encourage you to attend one of these meetings to become familiar with the plan.
The schedule of meetings is as follows:
July 25
